When Anders bakes a pie for his friend Jeff and it goes terribly wrong, what happens next? Well Anders doesn’t want to fess up to his own feelings. Jeff just wants to know what’s wrong with Anders. The two friends keep emotionally missing one another.

The lesson in this children’s picture book is when things don’t go quite right, it’s okay to talk about it with a friend. Maybe the two of you can come up with a solution together. When Jeff and Anders do work together, they make the most spectacular pie.

“Thanks for being a trusted friend, Jeff.”

“Good friends are like dessert, Anders. They’re always there for you at the end of the day.”
