“…my most important superpower of all is my POWER TO CHOOSE. With this power, I can change my day by changing my choices.”

The message behind this illustrated children’s book is so needed if you are raising any child trying to learn self-control. (which is all of us!) In this SUPER fun ‘choose your own adventure’ style book Danny has different scenarios he comes across including his little brother eating off of his favorite plate for breakfast. Will Danny yell and freak out, or will he calmly choose a different plate knowing he can eat off his favorite one tomorrow? The choice is YOURS! The reader gets to decide what Danny does.

We love this book so much we have the first one and the second book about Danny in school. There is a third book Danny Goes On Vacation, and a girl version What Should Darla Do? I have one child who only wants Danny to make the better choice and one child who loves to read what happens when Danny forgets his power to choose self-control or kindness. I like how you see the parents being patient and fair. It’s a wonderful opportunity for a child to see how a parent can be rewarding for good behavior, redemptive for bad behavior, and always loving no matter what.

I highly recommend these books! We read them again and again!
