‘“It’s Monday,” said Mr. Park. “Time to select our new student-librarian!” Penelope teetered on the edge of her seat.”

Auggie got to be the student librarian for a day at his elementary school last year and it was maybe the best day of his life! I loved this book so much and remembered how excited my Auggie was to get a chance to be the librarian. My Auggie is also LOUD like our protagonist, Penelope. After struggling to find her “library voice” Penelope finally thinks of a way that she can help out the librarian and still be her self.

It’s a fun book and is also a sneaky way to show your kids what a few library expectations are.

If you decide to take a trip to the library this week be sure to download my free library activity booklet and take it with you to explore your local library! Find it HERE!

The links on this blog may be from an Amazon Affiliate link, which means that I may receive a small compensation for promoting the book, while the price is the same for you! Win, win!
