The Greatest Song of All: How Isaac Stern United the World to Save Carnegie Hall by Megan Hoyt and illustrated by Katie Hickey for Quill Tree Books is a nonfiction book about violinist Isaac Stern and how he saved Carnegie Hall from demolition.

This is a longer form book which I love to find for my lower elementary kids. They can sit through a longer picture book. This one is filled with so much history. We kept pausing to listen to some of the musicians shown in the book and talk about he historical events along the way. It was a delight!
