I loved this fun rhyming and very relatable book. On a rainy day, this little boy is bored with his toys and decided to make up his own fun. His dad and mom are supporting him along the way and are there to see the final blastoff! It ends with him zooming to his room for bedtime. So you know this is a perfect bedtime book to share with your little ones!

I love the colorful paintings that make up these illustrations, the strong family bonds that are clearly shown with the supportive parents, and the inspiration of using what was around to make a rocket ship.

My kiddos LOVE to take boxes and cardboard out of the recycle bin to build new things. They may love it a little too much in my opinion! But we have these fun Make Do screws and box cutters that make it very easy. Even my 5-year-old can cut up cardboard with this box cutter! (Under strict adult supervision of course!)
