This book is all about a little worm trying to find value in his place in the world. He’s just a worm after all. After talking with other insects and hearing how they contribute to the garden, worm realizes maybe he does help in some way.

This would be a great companion book when learning about gardening, bugs, or the life cycle of plants. This book does include many facts about worms and has a glossary for words like chrysalis, pollinate, and predator.

My daughter was delighted to see the craft idea in the back of the book for a paper quill butterfly in the style of this book. I appreciate that the craft makes quilling accessible to all ages! We quilled some strips of paper and made our own masterpiece based on Marie Boyd’s style.

The link to purchase the books is an Amazon Affiliate link, which means that I may receive a small compensation for promoting the book, while the price is the same for you! Win, win!
