It’s October and I probably won’t be doing all Fall or all Halloween books. But I think this book would fit into a “Spooky” shelf theme!

I did read this book with my daughter recently and it is a hauntingly beautiful new fairytale. Hortense hates her shadow and will do anything to get rid of it. But when “bad guys” come to her home guess who helps save the day?
